AASHTO #8

This material is ½ inch minus. It is a clean material used for decorative purposes and walkways. It will not compact.

AASHTO #57/ 2B

This material is a washed 1 ¼ inch top size crushed stone. This stone is used for drainage, driveways, and making concrete. It is ideal for shed foundations and French drains, as it allows for water drainage. 

2A Modified / 2RC

This material has a 1 ¼ inch top size. It is a mixture of coarse, crushed stone, and crushed stone dust. It is used as road base, driveways, under slab, and walking paths. It will drain. 

AASHTO #3

This material is 3 inch minus. It is used primarily in drainage situations and for road bases. 

AASHTO #1

This material is 4 inch minus. It makes an excellent stone for subgrade stabilization. Applications for this stone include construction entrances and ditch lining. 

Anti-skid

This is a 3/8 inch clean material. It is primarily used by PennDOT and local municipalities as a skid deterrent throughout the winter months. 

Rip Rap

This material is a large boulder-sized rock which is classified into six categories, ranging in size from 3 to 48 inches: R-3 (3" - 6") R-4 (6" - 12") R-5 (9" - 18") R-6 (12" - 24") R-7 (18" - 30") R-8 (24" - 48"). This material is commonly used in high water flowing areas and steep banks to prevent erosion. Due to its size and nature, this material will not compact and is made to be machine placed in uniform layers. 

Type A Concrete Sand / C33 / Septic Sand

This is a washed, natural coarse sand. It is primarily used for the production of ready mix concrete. This sand can also be used for septic mounds, indoor and outdoor horse arenas, and as a setting bed for the installation of pavers. 

Mason Sand / Pool Sand

This is a washed, natural fine sand. It has many uses for construction, masonry applications, and is used underneath swimming pools. 

Bedding Sand

This is a washed coarse sand used to bed pipes and electrical conduits. 

1B Round River Rock

This material is a 3/4 inch minus multi-color, smooth and round decorative stone used for garden pathways, under decks, and in lieu of mulch.

1.5” Round River Rock

This material is a 1 ½ inch multi-color, smooth and round decorative stone used for garden pathways, under decks, and in lieu of mulch.

1-3” Round River Rock

This material is a 1 to 3 inch multi-color, smooth and round decorative stone used for garden pathways, under decks, and in lieu of mulch.

Screened Topsoil

This material is screened for easy application and handling. It is an ideal growing medium, used for planting gardens, flowerbeds, and planting grass. 

Fill Dirt

This material will have moderate sized rocks and is primarily used to fill in large holes or to build up an area where more than 1 foot of fill is needed. 

Mulch - West Wyoming Only 

Our West Wyoming location carries 3 colors of died mulch (brown, black, and red) and natural brown mulch. Mulch is primarily spread or laid over the surface of the soil as a covering. It is used to retain moisture in the soil, suppress weeds, keep the soil cool, and make the garden bed look more attractive.
